[Xbox Game Pass] New Additions – May 2022

 

Another month, another great selection of titles added to XBOX GAME PASS! With such a wealth of titles available across Xbox Consoles, PC and mobile streaming via the cloud, your friendly neighbourhood bearded gamers have once again cherry-picked a selection of top new titles plus a wealth of games that you may have missed.

This month we have a selection of indie gems alongside some big-hitting sports action. Return to an award-winning story of warped reality or head down the rabbit hole for some burton themed antics. Survive a hostile environment or the political landscape of professional sports or just eat some bugs! All this and more, so let’s get started.

 

Life is Strange: True Colours

A bold new era of the award-winning Life is Strange begins, with an all-new playable lead character and a thrilling mystery to solve! Alex Chen has long suppressed her ‘curse’: the supernatural ability to experience, absorb and manipulate the strong emotions of others, which she sees as blazing, coloured auras. Lost in Random

Play the odds in Lost in Random, a gothic fairytale-inspired action-adventure where every citizen’s fate is determined by the roll of a dice. This game is a work in progress. It may or may not change over time or release as a final product. Purchase only if you are comfortable with the current state of the unfinished game. Unsouled

Take on the role of the Fallen Prince in Unsouled – a stylish, fast-paced 2D action RPG. Fight your way through interactive environments and adrenaline-pumping encounters as you unravel the mysteries behind this world filled with the undead. Loot River

Set in a series of procedurally generated labyrinths, Loot River is a dungeon-crawling action roguelike that combines tense, real-time combat and dark fantasy settings with spatial block-shifting. Defeat bestial abominations armed with the power of the Relic, players can shift the ground beneath them, sliding floating ruins together in a series of tile puzzles. As players venture through these endless catacombs, they’ll encounter beasts, lost travellers, and bosses. These cosmic grottos offer a wealth of new weapons and gear to discover, as well as unholy knowledge to unearth for permanent upgrades.

 

Trek to Yomo

You are a sleeper, a digitised human consciousness in an artificial body, owned by a corporation that wants you back. Bugsnax

Bugsnax takes you on a journey to Snaktooth Island, home of the legendary half-bug half-snack creatures, Bugsnax. Invited by intrepid explorer Elizabert Megafig, you arrive to discover your host nowhere to be found, her camp in shambles, and her followers scattered across the island alone… and hungry! It’s up to you to solve the mysteries of Snaktooth Island: What happened to Lizbert? What are Bugsnax and where do they come from? But most of all, why do they taste SO GOOD?
