[Xbox Game Pass] Now Featuring EA Play!


It is no secret that the whiskered wonders at TBG are big fans of Microsofts Game Pass subscription, best described as a Netflix for gamers, the service grants players access to over 100 games at any time for a wallet-friendly monthly fee. These titles range from Microsoft’s exclusive line up which admittedly is small but does contain big hitters like Halo, Gears of War, Sea of Thieves and Forza to third party Triple-A releases and a range of Indie gems.

That’s right, Xbox gamers may never need to purchase another game again depending on your preferences and with the shiny new Xbox Series X hitting shelves right about now, this is the perfect service to give you a large back catalogue of titles to play on your new console. Some could argue that given Xbox’s measly offerings in the exclusive department during the X-Box One’s outing that is was Game Pass that saved them and to make things even sweeter, they have now doubled down on content and added EA Play to the mix!

You didn’t think TBG would be able to finish an article about EA Games without mentioning Dead Space, did you? Long term readers will know by now that we seriously love this game, now is the perfect time for all of you to find out why! When an immense mining ship, the USG Ishimura, comes into contact with a mysterious alien artefact in a remote star system, its communications with Earth are mysteriously cut off. Engineer Isaac Clarke is sent to repair the Ishimura’s communications array, but he arrives to find a living nightmare – the ship is a floating bloodbath, the crew unspeakably mutilated and infected by an ancient alien scourge. Clarke’s repair mission becomes one of survival as he fights not just to save himself, but to return the artefact to the planet … at any cost.
