Xbox Game Pass – Games you might have missed: July Edition


Another month, another great selection of titles added to XBOX GAME PASS! With such a wealth of titles, your friendly neighbourhood bearded gamer’s have once again cherry-picked a selection that you may have missed.

This month we have offerings from Triple-A developers as well of some of the finest Indie titles of the modern-day. From huge wastelands full of danger, furious battles with clashing blades, Sci-Fi adventures, neon fuelled gunfights, giant insects and the opportunity to become the hunter, Let’s get started.



Fallout 76: Watelanders

The dangerous world of Fallout is now multiplayer, join up with friends and strangers alike to forge your own story. In  Wastelanders, two vying factions are struggling to gain the upper hand as the secrets of West Virginia are revealed. The Settlers have come to find a new home, and the Raiders have come to exploit them. Embark on a new quest for the Overseer, forge alliances with competing factions, and uncover the truth of what’s hidden in the mountains.


Soul Calibur VI

One of the longest-running beat em up’s is now available and this time, it features The Witcher himself, Geralt of Rivia! Experience all-new gameplay mechanics with the most beautiful graphics the weapons-based fighting genre has ever seen! Travel through the signature 16th-century stages and experience the struggle for the two legendary swords.



This retro-inspired 2D Action RPG might outright surprise you. CrossCode combines 16-bit SNES-style graphics with butter-smooth physics, a fast-paced combat system, and engaging puzzle mechanics, served with a gripping sci-fi story. Dive into an adventure that can last between 30-80 hours with over 120 different enemy types to scratch that adventuring itch.


Neon Abyss

Combining furious run ‘n’ gun action and deep, roguelike mechanics, Neon Abyss pits you as a member of ‘Grim Squad’ – a task force set-up by Hades himself to infiltrate the Abyss and defeat the New Gods. Death is not the end as every time you die, you’ll find yourself more empowered than before.



The world is a vast, beautiful and dangerous place – especially when you have been shrunk to the size of an ant. Explore, build and survive together in this first-person, multiplayer, survival-adventure. Can you thrive alongside the hordes of giant insects, fighting to survive the perils of the backyard? Carrion is a reverse horror game in which you assume the role of an amorphous creature of unknown origin. Stalk and consume those that imprisoned you to spread fear and panic throughout the facility. Grow and evolve as you tear down this prison and acquire more and more devastating abilities on the path to retribution. Turn the tables on humanity and wreak havoc.


Mount & Blade: Warband

In a land torn asunder by incessant warfare, it is time to assemble your own band of hardened warriors and enter the fray. Lead your men into battle, expand your realm, and claim the ultimate prize: the throne of Calradia!
