On October 29th, 1993 Disney released one of their most unforgettable animated movies, the stop motion musical masterpiece known as The Nightmare Before Christmas.
For close to 30 years, The Nightmare Before Christmas has been the go-to movie for Halloween and Christmas fans alike, as they rejoice over the so-called Pumpkin King’s plans to give Santa the night off, and take over the festive period.
Despite having Christmas in its title, and featuring a load of Christmas iconography, The Nightmare Before Christmas is a Halloween movie, a family-friendly horror story about skeletons and werewolves and the boogie man.
